Hello to all!
Wow, it has been so long since I updated my blog. I wanted to let you know how the things are here in Chile. Well, I'm learning a lot about La Pintana, the neighborhood I am living in, as well as the segregation of social classes here in Santiago and in Chile in general. There are a lot of changes happening at the House of Hope. The entire month of October, two different teams from the States came to work on a construction project. They are building another house behind the House of Hope. (I'll put up pictures later!) I'm also in the midst of doing graduate school applications for fall 2013 for a Master's of Social Work. These past few months have been very busy...with lots of work, many changes, stress, but God remains good. He is teaching me so much. It's also been so great to be with Pablo. I thank God for him and for this relationship. He has been such a great support for me here.
So, please be praying for me. Please pray that God gives me wisdom as I work in the House of Hope with the girls there. Pray that I finish all my graduate school applications as at times that consumes my mind. Above all, pray that God's will be done.
I hope to post again soon...and to put up pictures. It all depends when I finish my applications as that is what I have been doing in my free time.
