Time with Bekah

My dearest friend and roommate from Hope College, Bekah, was in Chile during my first 10 days here!  After telling her soooo much about Chile, my host family, friends, and Pablo...she just had to see it for herself! :)  This was her first trip to a Latin American country and she just started learning Spanish a couple months before her arrival.  I loved showing her around, introducing her to all my friends, and teaching her Spanish.  I love her SO MUCH and I thank the Lord for placing her in my life and for allowing us to share this experience together.  It was also so comforting to have her by my side, as I had mentioned in my previous post that it was difficult to leave home.  Bekah was my bit from home here with me in Chile.  She helped me surprise my friends in Viña, move into my room at the House of Hope, and she was there for me when I found out that my Grandma had passed away.  I love her dearly!  She also really enjoyed getting to know Pablo -- and the verdict is.....she approves!  hehe!  I knew she would. :P

In front of the Flower Clock.  The saying goes that if you take a picture in front of the Flower Clock, that means that you will return to Chile.  ... So I made Bekah take a picture there! hehe!

My new home for the next 10 months!
